Weekend Promoted Parlay Matchups: Friday, August 10

To start, here’s Friday’s NFL Preseason matchups you should add to your weekend promoted parlays.

NFL Preseason Week 1

  • Atlanta Falcons at New York Jets
  • Detroit Lions at Oakland Raiders

As far as the NFL Preseason is concerned, games pretty much promote themselves. As an added incentive, make sure to discuss how the Jets have a rookie QB, Sam Darnold, whom they expect to start in Week 1.

That will drum up interest on Falcons at Jets.

There’s already high interest for the Oakland Raiders. Coach Jon Gruden is supposed to lead the Raiders to the Super Bowl. Has the game passed Gruden by?

Don’t be surprised if Lions at Raiders is the most watched sporting event of the week. It’s an absolute add to any promoted parlay.

MLB Regular Season

    • Washington Nationals at Chicago Cubs
    • Tampa Bay Rays at Toronto Blue Jays
    • Milwaukee Brewers at Atlanta Braves

Online bookies can pick and choose which MLB games they wish to add from the above 3 listed. The reason is that no team in any game listed above has a pitching edge over the other team.

This includes Brewers at Braves and Rays at Blue Jays. All 3 games are difficult to handicap sports events. That’s a good thing.

Saturday, August 11

Again, start with the NFL Preseason matchup and you weekend parlays will gain some action.

NFL Preseason Week 1

      • Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos
      • Los Angeles Chargers at Arizona Cardinals

Minnesota at Denver will promote itself.

Are the Vikings going to play the $85 million dollar man, Kirk Cousins?

Even if they don’t, how will the Vikings offense look without last year’s starting QB and starting running backs? Denver is one of the most popular teams in the NFL.

Interest should also be high on the L.A. Chargers. The Chargers are expected to not only make the playoffs but to challenge New England and Pittsburgh for the AFC Championship. Arizona has a rookie QB in Josh Rosen.

Football fans will watch this game.

MLB Regular Season

      • Seattle Mariners at Houston Astros
      • New York Mets at Miami Marlins
      • L.A. Dodgers at Colorado Rockies

Seattle is eight games behind Houston in the AL West. If Seattle is to make a move, they had better do it this weekend.

Mets at Marlins is one of those ridiculously difficult to handicap baseball games. Pay per head agents should always include a couple of those types of games into their promoted parlays.

Colorado, like they often do, is making a run in the NL West. The Rockies are only 3 games behind the L.A. Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Interest in Rockies and Dodgers should be crazy high on Saturday.
