NEW JERSEY DEVILS

Founded in 1974 as the Kansas City Scouts, they moved to Denver in 1976 and were renamed the Colorado Rockies. In 1982, they moved to East Rutherford, New Jersey, and were renamed the Devils. In 2007, they moved to their current location in Newark. It wasn’t until Lou Lamoriello was hired as President and General Manager that the team saw any success. They have won three Stanley Cup Championships since then and have a rivalry with their neighboring teams, New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers.
