NFL Wild Card Matchup Tips

How To Promote Your NFL Wild Card Matchups

The NFL Wild Card Weekend takes place this Saturday on Jan. 6, and this Sunday on Jan. 7. Online bookie agents most likely won’t have to drum up too much excitement for the 4 games.

NFL Wild Card Weekend

It is possible to make a profit off these games, though, it might be wise to do some promotion to increase action.

I’ve listed the four games, their spreads, as well as some advice on how to promote each as a Pay Per Head agent.

Saturday, Jan. 6

Tennessee Titans +9 at Kansas City Chiefs -9

The Chiefs head to the NFL Playoffs having gone 4 and 0 both straight up and against the spread. Kansas City is only 1 and 8 against the spread in their last 9 playoff games.

Also, make sure to mention that at one-time Kansas City was 5 and 0 this season.

Atlanta Falcons +6.5 at L.A. Rams -6.5

Last season, the Atlanta Falcons’ magical run ended in an overtime loss to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI.

It’s important to promote the fact that Atlanta had to win 3 of its final 4 games just to stamp their ticket to the post-season.

All per head agents should also promote the fact that the L.A. Rams are the highest-scoring team in the NFL. The Rams average 29 points per game.

Drub the idea of veterans, the Atlanta Falcons, battling youth, the L.A. Rams, to promote this NFL Wild Card game.

Sunday, Jan. 7

Buffalo Bills +9 at Jacksonville Jaguars -9

The Jaguars have arguably the best defense in the NFL. Jacksonville only allows 286 total yards per game on average. The Jags also only allow 16.8 points per game on average.

However, Jacksonville gives up over 116 yards rushing per game.

Buffalo’s top player is RB LeSean McCoy. Promoting this game as a matchup of Jacksonville’s defense versus the excellent McCoy is a good place start.

Don’t forget to note that Jacksonville won the AFC South this season after being a laughingstock last season.

Carolina Panthers +7 at New Orleans Saints -7

There are several ways to promote Panthers at Saints on Sunday afternoon. First, this is the third time these 2 teams have met this season. Can the New Orleans Saints beat the Carolina Panthers for a third straight time in a single season?

Second, Carolina’s quarterback is Cam Newton. New Orleans’ quarterback is Drew Brees. Newton and Brees are two of the best signal-callers in the NFL.

Finally, these two teams are traditional rivals.

Use all or some of these promotional ideas to pump up action on this weekend’s NFL Wild Card games.
