Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions -3

Over 60% favor the Detroit Lions. Hard to understand why. Seattle’s rushing attack was brilliant in their 2 games before the bye while Detroit’s defense had trouble containing Miami. Both teams are similar in terms of talent.

If Lions over bet in your book, consider not using your layoff account. Set max betting limits on both squads just in case but consider allowing liability money on Detroit to ride in NFL Week 8.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cincinnati Bengals -4.5

Cincinnati looked horrendous losing to Kansas City this past Monday night. So, not only do the Bengals allow over 400 total yards per game, but they face one of the better offenses in the NFL off short rest.

Tampa could win this game straight up in NFL week 8. Definitely set max betting limits on the Bucs. In addition, consider not going to the layoff account if Bengals create a liability. Bengals should find it hard to cover the 4.5.

NFL Week 8: Green Bay Packers at L.A. Rams -9.5

Sure, the Rams covered a massive -11 spread in Week 7. However, LAR battled the San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco’s not close to being as talented as Green Bay even though they hung with the Packers at Lambeau in Week 6.

Rams had gone 0-3 ATS in their previous 3 before blasting the 49ers. One of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play, Aaron Rodgers, remains a Packer. Giving Rodgers 9.5 points is close to ridiculous.

Shelve the layoff account if Rams create a liability. Green Bay could upset L.A. on Sunday.

Indianapolis Colts -3 at Oakland Raiders

Yes, Colts’ quarterback Andrew Luck has an 8 to 3 TD/INT ratio in his last couple of games. However, Sunday’s matchup is a road test for Indianapolis.

Oakland shed itself of wide receiver Amari Cooper and welcomes Indianapolis off a bye. Raiders could get their second win this season. So, set max betting limits on both moneylines.
