Cowboys vs Eagles Prediction: Week 7 Matchup Preview

Cowboys vs Eagles Game Analysis: Poor Records

NFC East Division rivals Dallas Cowboys take on the Eagles in Philadelphia on October 26 for Monday Night Football.

Both teams are 2-4 and are hoping to turn their fortunes around. One of them will improve that record in Week 7. Here at PayPerHead, you’ll find our Cowboys vs Eagles prediction and everything you need to know ahead of this game.

Dallas Cowboys Recent Scores: Inconsistent Play

In Week 4, the Cowboys had their second victory of the season against the winless Texans (0-4). Dallas was down 16-6 in the first half before mounting a comeback. Javonte Williams scored three rushing touchdowns in the second half, and CeeDee Lamb scored the game-winning touchdown with 40 seconds left.

In Week 5, the Buccaneers’ unsigned rookie quarterback, Jalon Daniels, completed 19 of 25 passes for 189 yards and 1 touchdown in his first career NFL win.

In Week 6 against the Packers, the score could have been more lopsided if three more potential touchdown passes by Jordan Love hadn’t been dropped. Dak Prescott went 34 of 54 for 258 yards, but it’s hard to win when you don’t score. The Cowboys were down 17-0 at halftime.

  • Week 1: at Giants 20-28 (loss)
  • Week 2: vs Commanders 37-20 (win)
  • Week 3: vs Ravens 31-34 (loss)
  • Week 4: at Texans 34-30 (win)
  • Week 5: vs Buccaneers 16-24 (loss)
  • Week 6: at Packers 13-23 (loss)

Philadelphia Eagles Recent Scores: Losing Streak

The Eagles had a good start to the season, winning their first two games against the Commanders and Titans. But since then, they’ve been on a 4-game slide, starting with a 7-27 loss to the Bears.

In Week 4, the Eagles led the Rams 20-10 after three quarters, but Rams running back Kyren Williams scored two late touchdowns in the 4th to get the comeback win. The Eagles didn’t score in the second half. Matthew Stafford went 32-of-51 for 317 yards and 2 interceptions, while Jalen Hurts went 12-of-24 for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Week 5 against the Jaguars was played in London, England. The Eagles led 14-7 after the first half, but their scoring stalled in the second half. Jalen Hurts played through health issues but still completed 21-of-40 passes for 220 yards and a touchdown. The Jaguars won on a walk-off 57-yard field goal that was set up by a 53-yard kickoff return from Ameer Abdullah.

Jalen Hurts is on injury reserve and missed Week 6 against the Panthers. Backup Tanner McKee made his third career start and his first without the Eagles already clinching a playoff berth. He looked out of place most of the game.

  • Week 1: vs Commanders 24-22 (win)
  • Week 2: at Titans 24-20 (win)
  • Week 3: at Bears 7-27 (loss)
  • Week 4: vs Rams 20-24 (loss)
  • Week 5: vs Jaguars 17-19 (loss)
  • Week 6: vs Panthers 14-25 (loss)

Cowboys vs Eagles History: Hot Rivalry

These long-time rivals know each other well, having met 134 times. The Cowboys lead the series 75-59, with no ties, and have met in the playoffs four times.

Their first game was in 1960, and their most recent was on November 23, 2025, with Dallas winning 24-21. The Eagles have won 3 of their last 4 matchups.

Cowboys vs Eagles Prediction: Blood Clot Injury

What started as a blood clot in his calf has travelled to Jalen Hurts’ lungs. He will be out for the season but is expected to make a full recovery. Without Hurts, the scoring will be limited, which is why the Cowboys are favored by 4.5 points.

Dallas has the scoring power while Philadelphia has the better defense. Unfortunately, both teams have been inconsistent. Playing at home will give the Eagles a boost, but the Cowboys will come out swinging to prove their scoring ability.

Our Cowboys vs Eagles prediction is a 24-18 win for the Cowboys, but expect errors on both sides. Remember to follow us on social media to stay tuned this NFL season.
