2025 NFL Schedule with Key Dates and International Games

A new NFL season is coming in hot, and here at PayPerHead, we bring to you some of the most important dates on the calendar to stay up-to-date with the most relevant events of this 2025 season.

Preseason 2025: A Look at Rookie Highlights Before the Regular Season

As of today, the preseason games are going on and will finish with the third preseason weekend on August 21-23. From there, August 31 will be the final day of the preseason training camp for all clubs.

Preseason is always a good moment to evaluate the club’s recent acquisitions, as was the case with the Cleveland Browns, who saw their young quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, score his first TD against the Carolina Panthers in week 1 of the preseason. Another sweet case was the New England Patriots’ rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson returning the opening kickoff of the Pats’ preseason for 100 yards and scoring a touchdown. His first ball touch in the NFL ever.

The season will officially start with the Kickoff Weekend presented by YouTube TV on September 4-5 and 7-8. The first game will feature the reigning champs, the Philadelphia Eagles, against the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.

2025 NFL International Games: The Full Schedule

The day after the official kickoff, Friday, September 5th, the Kansas City Chiefs will clash against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil at Corinthians Arena in the city of São Paulo. That same month, on day 28, the NFL goes overseas to place the game between the Minnesota Vikings vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

The next international date will be a week later on October 5, when the Vikings repeat, but this time against the Cleveland Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium prepares to host its 11th NFL game, earning the vital role in becoming the league’s perfect UK home, which is why, a week later, on October 12, the Denver Broncos will play the New York Jets in this same stadium. The England tour will finish at Wembley Stadium when the Los Angeles Rams face the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 19.

November will close the international window with two games. The first one is on November 9 at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany, when the Atlanta Falcons face the Indianapolis Colts, and the second one, on November 16, is between the Washington Commanders vs. the Miami Dolphins at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain. It is important to mention that November 4 is when all trading ends.
