On an interesting note, Esmir Bajraktarevic’s parents emigrated to the US to escape the war in Bosnia. He was born in the US in 2004 and played for the USA team in 2024 in a friendly against Slovenia. He switched to the Bosnian team a few months later and will be playing as a winger against his former team in this match.
