It was their only playoff meeting. The Panthers were an expansion team in only their second year of existence. The Packers won 30-13 and went on to win Super Bowl XXXI.

Panthers vs Packers Prediction: Both Want Comebacks
The Packers are 3.5-point favorites, having home-field advantage, a better-than-average defense, and a more consistent quarterback in Jordan Love. But it’s hard to count the Panthers out. A bounce back from their recent shellacking is very possible. And they did just beat the Packers in November.
On the other hand, the Packers also look to bounce back from their recent loss to the Lions, which could have been a win if their kicker, Trey Smack, didn’t have a bad day.
