With all their injuries, it’s amazing that they’ve been able to win their last two games. Granted, one was against the last-place Pacers, but the other one was against the Mavericks, who are just below the Grizzlies in the standings.
The bigger picture shows that they got lucky with their schedule, because they’ve only won 3 of their last 10 games. That other win came against the Utah Jazz, who are down in the basement.

With their 3rd win in a row, the Timberwolves pulled away from the Nuggets in the Western Conference standings, with 38 wins against Denver’s 37. Their only loss in the last 7 games was to the 76ers, who blew them out, 135-108.
They are 7-3 in their last 10 games, however. The other two losses came against teams closer to the Grizzlies in the standings. They had back-to-back losses against the Pelicans (115-119) and the Clippers (96-115). Does that mean the Grizzlies have a chance?
