Jaguars vs Ravens Game Analysis: Quarterback Issue
Thursday Night Football features the Jaguars at the Ravens on November 5. Kickoff is at 8:15 pm ET. Home field advantage won’t help the Ravens, who have an uncertain quarterback situation.
The Jaguars lead the AFC South at 5-2, while the Ravens have dropped steadily and just got crushed by the Bills. They sit at the bottom of the AFC North at 4-4. Here at PayPerHead, you’ll find our Jaguars vs Ravens prediction and everything you need to know ahead of this game.
Jacksonville Jaguars Recent Scores: Don’t Travel Well
In Week 6, the Jaguars and Texans played in Wembley Stadium in London. The teams were even in passing and rushing yards, turnovers (1), and time of possession. Ka’imi Fairbairn kicked a 49-yard field goal as time expired to win the game for the Texans.
After a bye in Week 7, the Jaguars hosted the Indianapolis Colts to beat them in a 42-7 blowout. Indianapolis’ only points came in the third quarter when Daniel Jones threw a touchdown pass to Josh Downs. Jones also had two interceptions and was benched in the fourth quarter. Anthony Richardson replaced him. Jacksonville’s Bhayshul Tuten had career highs with 104 rushing yards and 55 receiving yards.

Baltimore Ravens Recent Scores: Backup of Backup
Baltimore has four wins this season, but is currently on a three-game skid. In Week 7 against the Bengals, they led 13-0 at halftime, with backup quarterback Tyler Huntley leading the charge. But Joe Burrow and the Bengals turned it around in the second half. Burrow completed 16 of 18 passes for 249 yards and four touchdowns.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson was back in Week 8 after missing three weeks. He lasted exactly one snap when Buffalo’s Greg Rousseau hit Jackson’s throwing hand as he released an incomplete pass. Jackson requires thumb surgery and is expected to miss the season. Backup Snoop Huntley suffered a foot injury in the second quarter and was replaced by undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano, who made his NFL debut in the team’s third straight loss.

Jaguars vs Ravens History: Cleveland to Baltimore
Both teams entered the NFL around the same time. The Jaguars debuted as an expansion team in 1995, and the Ravens relocated from Cleveland in 1996.
The Jaguars have a slight lead in the series, 13-11-0. They have not met in the postseason.
Jaguars vs Ravens Prediction: Hot and Healthy
Lamar Jackson is out indefinitely, while backup Tyler Huntley is out with a toe injury. The Ravens need to figure out their quarterback lineup on a short week. They will have support from Derrick Henry and the defense, but that’s only one side of the ball.
Jacksonville’s defense has been strong and stingy in every game except against the Texans in Week 6 in London. Apparently, they don’t travel well. Trevor Lawrence has 1,690 yards and 17 touchdowns, and Bhayshul Tuten has a productive running game. The Jaguars are healthy and hot. Don’t bet against them.
Our Jaguars vs Ravens prediction is another big win for Jacksonville, 32-14. Does anyone else think that Lamar Jackson should play for Jacksonville? Remember to follow us on social media to stay tuned this NFL season.
