Bookmaker Software Tips for Week 9 in the NFL
** Week 10 NFL bye teams: Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens
Thursday Night Football Game – November 10
Atlanta Falcons -3 at Carolina Panthers
Atlanta could end up overplayed. Most PPH sportsbook agents will see action flow almost exclusively to the Falcons, even though the ATL required overtime to beat the Panthers in the last head-to-head.
Atlanta failed to beat the Chargers last Sunday. The Falcons sure looked like winners in the final quarter, but lousy play calls did in the Falcons.
Consider: 76% of players are on the Falcons. So use the layoff account if required. Also, set max limits on the ATL money line.
Sunday, November 13
Seattle Seahawks at Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3
The spread line opened Tampa Bay -2.5. By the time pros get involved, the line could dive to Tampa -2.5 or even TB -2.
Seattle is on an impressive streak. The Seahawks have won four straight. Seattle has also gone 4-of-4 against the spread in their last four.
Consider: The Seahawks have become one of the NFC’s better teams. PPH services agents should set maximum limits on the Seattle money line.
Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears -3
The Lions head to Chicago after their most impressive win of the season. Facing a desperate Green Bay side, Detroit blasted the Packers 15-9 as a home underdog.
Chicago’s rally against Miami fell short. The Bears have improved from game to game the past month, so 74% are laying the -3 points on Chicago.
Consider: Detroit shouldn’t take much action. Use the layoff account to temper risk on a Bears cover. Betting program agents may also have to use the layoff account on over bets.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs -9.5
Only one team has Patrick “Magic Man” Mahomes, which is why although Tennessee outplayed Kansas City, Mahomes rallied the Chiefs to an overtime victory.
Kansas City is 0-4 against the spread at home, though. Also, the Jags head to KC after beating the Raiders 27-20.
Consider: 64% of players believe Kansas City covers. Pros might back the Jags. But Jacksonville is just 1-3 ATS on the road. The action could even out by kickoff.
New Orleans Saints -2.5 at Pittsburgh Steelers
Saints versus Steelers should be a competitive game. New Orleans is the most undisciplined team in the league while the Steelers might be the most disciplined.
The Saints could fumble and stumble their way to another loss. Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett could struggle against the Saints’ defense.
Consider: Set max limits on the Steelers’ money line. Most spread betting action has gone to Pittsburgh. So the Steelers’ money line could be hot on your bookie website.
Cleveland Browns at Miami Dolphins -3.5
Both teams have good enough offenses to blow through the 48.5 total. Miami has scored 30 or more in two straight.
The Dolphins gave up 32 versus Chicago in NFL Week 9. Cleveland heads to Miami off a bye. So players could bet the total instead of going with Browns or Dolphins to cover.
Consider: Don’t use your sportsbook software to manage action until you see where the action is going.
Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills -4
The Minnesota Vikings head into their ninth game with a terrific 7-1 record. The Vikings have gotten lucky in a few games this season. 67% of NFL handicappers believe Minnesota’s luck runs out on Sunday.
Buffalo will be looking to return to the winning track after a tough loss to the rival Jets in their last. So far, NFL bettors believe it happens.
Consider: Use your online bookie software to set limits on the Vikings’ ML. Also, manage action via your layoff account.
Denver Broncos at Tennessee Titans -3
Denver’s defense is pretty good. But it will struggle to keep Derrick Henry from having a monster day. Henry has played like the best running back in the league season.
Also, before the NFL Week 9 loss to the Chiefs, the Titans had won 5 straight games. Tennessee figures to get back on the winning track in a big way.
Consider: 77% are all over the Titans to cover the spread. The Broncos shouldn’t win this game. If you’re worried, you know what to do.
Houston Texans at New York Giants -5.5
The Giants take on the Texans after their bye. NYG is 6-2, which makes this game meaningful.
The Texans play tough but don’t have a good enough roster to hang with the G-Men. At least, that’s what 69% of NFL handicappers believe.
Consider: There’s a good chance PPH sportsbook agents will have to use their layoff account to manage the action on the Giants.
Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders -6
Indianapolis fired head coach Frank Reich. Former center Jeff Saturday takes over, which is why the 2-6 Raiders are the favorites.
The action could fall onto Indy. The Colts have a decent enough defense to contain Vegas’ offense.
Consider: More money is going to Las Vegas than to Indianapolis. Change isn’t often good in the NFL. But the Colts’ D will punish the Raiders’ offensive line. So make sure you’ve got limits on the Indy ML.
Dallas Cowboys -5 at Green Bay Packers
Green Bay is on a 5-game losing streak. During the streak, the Packers have been 1-5 against the spread. Dallas has won 2 straight and is 6-1 ATS in their last 7.
Consider: Wait to see where the action goes before backing either of these teams to cover. Dallas should win this game, but it’s difficult seeing the Packers losing a sixth straight. In this case, it’s ultra-difficult because the game happens at Lambeau.
Arizona Cardinals at L.A. Rams -3
Neither team is playing well. The Rams gave up a lead to equally bad Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an NFL Week 9 loss.
The Cardinals lost to the Seahawks straight up as a -2 home chalk. Arizona might have the edge because Cooper Kupp is banged up, and the Rams’ run game is non-existent.
Consider: 58% favor the Rams, and 48% prefer The Valley. Manage action only if necessary.
NFL Sunday Night Football: Los Angeles Chargers at San Francisco 49ers -7
The Bolts got lucky in their 20-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. LAC must now hope the luck carries over to the road.
San Francisco heads into this game off a bye. The 49ers beat the Rams in their last.
Starting Niners running back Christian McCaffrey should have an excellent game. The Chargers allow 145.5 rushing yards each contest.
Consider: You could see a run on the 49ers to cover. San Francisco appears ready to make a move for the top spot in the NFC West Division while the Bolts are skating by against much worse teams.
Monday Night Football – November 14
Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles
Gamblers believe this is the week the Eagles come down to earth. Most aren’t backing the Commanders on the money line.
Instead, 60% and rising are taking the 10.5 points. Philadelphia has played great football, but few teams can keep up the Eagles’ torrid pace.
Consider: The Commanders can win this game. Few NFL teams nowadays go 9-0. Also, Washington is playing well. So set max limits on the Commanders’ money line for sure.
