NFL Futures For Online Bookies: Most Interceptions Thrown

One of the more interesting NFL proposition bets offered to players in online sportsbooks this year is Most Interceptions Thrown.

Pay per head agents must pay attention to this prop since it could be hot in their sportsbooks.

There are a couple of categories for this blog.

The first category deals with those quarterbacks that are favored to throw the most interceptions. The second category deals with the underdog odds players that might throw the most interceptions.

NFL Most Interceptions Thrown Odds

  • Phillip Rivers +550
  • Blake Bortles +550
  • Eli Manning +550
  • Jameis Winston +550
  • Jared Goff +600

The name on this list that agents shouldn’t worry so much about is Blake Bortles. Surprised? Maybe, you should be.

The Jacksonville Jaguars QB threw 16 total interceptions last season.

But, and this is where it gets interesting, Blake only threw 1 interception in Jacksonville’s last 4 games of the regular season.

Now that Tom Coughlin runs the team, and Doug Marrone is the Jags’ head coach, Bortles should bring that interception total down to around 10.

There are plenty of quarterbacks in the NFL that will throw more than 10 interceptions.

The best play on the above list is Jameis Winston.

He’s the quarterback from the list above that all per head agents must pay attention to.

You should study action on Winston. Set max betting limits, or set a schedule limit override accordingly.

Best Underdogs to Throw Most Interceptions in the NFL This Season

  • Joe Flacco +1600
  • Kirk Cousins +3300
  • Ryan Tannehill +3300

Without a doubt, the best play in this category is Kirk Cousins.

At the odds, Cousins is going to garner a ton of attention. He should garner a lot of attention from pro players at those odds.

Why?

Washington failed to sign Cousins to a long-term deal. He’s playing this season under the franchise tag of around $23 million per year.

Cousins might press more than he usually does because he’ll want to impress potential NFL suitors.

When you press as a QB in the NFL, you throw more interceptions than you should.

That could be Cousins’ downfall.  At 33 to 1, it doesn’t take a lot for a sports bettor to make a ton of money.

Online bookies should consider lowering the max betting limit on all quarterbacks at 20 to 1 or higher, to $100.

Maybe, depending your book, the max betting limit should be less.

If you’re a sports bookie, you want to make the most money possible.  If you don’t have the right tools, you’ll fall short every time.
