NBA Eastern Conference Finals: Heat Up 1-0 Over Celtics, Can Tatum & the C’s Rally?

The Miami Heat won Game 1 behind Jimmy Butler’s 35 points. Do the Celtics have what it takes to rally? Or should the Miami Heat start to warm up the mantle for the Eastern Conference Finals trophy? Keep reading for everything pay per head agents must know about the Miami Heat versus Boston Celtics series.

NBA Eastern Conference Game 1 Result: Heat 123 Celtics 116

No doubt, Jimmy Butler is why the Miami Heat have a 1 game to 0 lead over the Boston Celtics. Jimmy B. posted 35 points, seven assists, and five rebounds stats line. More impressively, JB had six thefts.

So the first thing bookie software agents must do is set max limit in their betting program on Butler props.

But Jimmy Butler wasn’t the only reason the Heat scored the Eastern Conference Finals first game victory. Kevin Love contributed 8 points and six boards, Max Strus scored 15, Gabe Vincent dropped 15, and Bam Adebayo scored 20.

The real story for the Heat, though, was how two bench players, Kyle Lowry and Caleb Martin, scored 15. If everyone contributes, the Heat will be challenging to beat.

Miami Heat will ride Playoff Jimmy throughout the series, but . . .

All night, Jimmy hounded Boston’s players. The NBA Playoffs have seen exceptional performances by Butler already.

The Eastern Conference Finals will rest on Butler’s continued excellent play. If J. Buckets gets it going in every game and throws down 40 to 50 when required, the Heat will have a great shot of winning the conference finals.

But Butler can’t do it all on his own. Jimmy Butler, as great as he is, requires at least some help, which is why the performances of his supporting cast are so relevant.

In Celtics vs. 76ers, it looked as if Joel Embiid and James Harden had the C’s where they wanted them. But in Game 7, Celtics vs. 76ers was an absolute destruction.

So just because Butler was a star in Game 1 and had help, it doesn’t mean Jimmy will get the required assistance in every game during the series.

NBA Playoffs star Jayson Tatum requires help

The Boston Celtics began the season the chalk to win the NBA Finals, and Boston was a second choice behind the Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs.

After the Miami Heat dusted the Bucks in the first round, the Celtics again stepped up to become the favorite to win the NBA Finals.

Like Jimmy Butler for the Heat, the Celtics have ridden one of the game’s stars, Jayson Tatum. JT has more 50-plus point games than the great Larry Bird.

When Tatum is on, the Celtics are close to impossible to beat. However, Tatum scored 30 points in Game 1, and the Celtics still lost.

The 30 came after one of those plus 50-point performances in Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers. So even if Tatum has a great game, the C’s can still lose.

Like Jimmy going off, Boston can’t expect Tatum to carry them throughout this series, and it can’t just be Jaylen Brown that helps JT. For sure, Jaylen Brown must step up. But so must Derrick White. So must Marcus Smart.

If the C’s expect Tatum to provide the Game 7 performance he did against the Sixers in every contest in this series, Boston versus Miami will last up to five or six games.

NBA Finals Prediction: Nuggets vs. Heat looks solid

On Thursday, May 18, the Denver Nuggets won a 108-103 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers can get back into the series, but Los Angeles showed they have absolutely zero way of stopping Nikola Jokic.

Although Jokic wasn’t Denver’s high-scorer, he contributed 23 points, 12 assists, and 17 boards. Also, the Nuggets have contributors all over their roster. Jamal Murray punished the Lakers with 37 points, ten rebounds, and five assists in Game 2.

If Denver beats Los Angeles, the prediction is that Miami will get by the Celtics. In last season’s NBA Eastern Conference Finals, the Heat pushed the Celtics to seven games.

Miami was a play away from taking down Boston. Butler will continue to thrive, and the supporting cast is better this season than last.

The Miami Heat versus Denver Nuggets should be a terrific matchup. Bookmaker software agents will want to set max limits on both teams to win the series.

If you’re a bookie betting agent, handicap both teams before deciding the winner. Butler, Jokic, and Murray are great in the fourth quarter.
