NFL Week 4 Preview and Sportsbook Management Advice

Before getting to this week’s games, let’s recap week 3. On Monday Night Football, the Dallas Cowboys outlasted the New York Giants in a stunning 23-16 road win.The victory was Cooper Rush’s third straight. Rush, the Cowboys’ backup, played lights out. The Dallas defense showed it’s for real. The most impressive performance came from the Jaguars, who handed the Chargers their second straight loss in a 38-10 beating. Other remarkable performances included the Eagles going 3-0 after dominating Washington 24-8, the Colts rallying for a 20-17 win over the Chiefs, and Tua Tagovailoa shaking off a brutal hit to rally the Dolphins to a 21-19 win over Buffalo. Keep reading for previews of each NFL Week 4 matchup along with the moves pay per head sportsbook agents should consider making to keep their sportsbooks in the black.

Bookmaker Software Tips for NFL Week 4

Thursday Night Football – September 29

Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals -3.5

Miami coach Mike McDaniel said Tua isn’t in the concussion protocol. If Tagovailoa plays, and if he’s one-hundred percent, the Fins have what it takes to go 4-0.Miami’s defense is excellent, and the receiver room might be the best in the NFL. The Bengals looked good beating up the Jets. But the Dolphins are one of the top teams in the league. So Cincinnati may have trouble. Consider: Set max limits on the Dolphins’ money line if Tagovailoa plays. If he doesn’t, the Bengals could cover, so you may have to use your layoff account.

Sunday, September October 2

Minnesota Vikings -2.5 at New Orleans Saints

The Saints are a mess. New Orleans is struggling to score points because a) Jameis Winston is playing hurt, and b) the offensive line isn’t playing well.Minnesota isn’t playing much better. But the Vikings can score points, and with the Saints’ offense in disarray, this feels like a Vikings win and cover. Consider: This game happens in London. Few players figure to wake early to back the Vikings or the Saints. But you never know. So bookie software agents should pay attention to the action on this contest.

Cleveland Browns -1.5 at Atlanta Falcons

Cleveland looked great in a Thursday night win versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. But things get dicey for the Browns versus the Falcons in NFL Week 4.The ATL boasts one of the NFL’s top quarterback and wide receiver combinations in vet Marcus Mariota and USC rookie Drake London. Atlanta should be 2-1 instead of 1-2.If the come from behind attempt versus the Rams had worked in week 3, the Southern Birds would be 3-0.Consider: Set max limits on the Falcons money line for sure. The Browns will struggle to keep Mariota to London from scoring, and the game happens in the ATL.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Philadelphia Eagles -6.5

The week’s most competitive matchup pits the high-flying Philadelphia offense versus one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Jaguars are a legit playoff contender. So is Philadelphia. The Eagles have impressed, but they don’t have a signature win. So the line might be inflated. Consider: Value bettors could be all over the Jags in this game. The Jaguars linebackers, Josh Allen, Travon Walker, and Devin Lloyd, have enough speed to contain Eagles QB Jalen Hurts. Use your layoff account as required.

Los Angeles Chargers -5.5 at Houston Texans

Neither team heads into this playing great ball. The Chargers are in worse shape. Not only is Justin Herbert suffering from battered ribs, but LAC will be without their starting left tackle, Rashawn Slater, for the entire season. The Texans aren’t a good team, but this might be too many points. Consider: This one poses a risk to your betting program. Best bookie software practices suggest setting max limits on the Texans’ ML.

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts -3

Titans versus Colts is a massive game for both teams. The Titans fall to 1-3 with a loss. The Colts end up 1-2-1.The Jaguars could run away from the loser in the division. So expect a tight game. Consider: Heading into the Wednesday before, 70% of players are jumping on the Titans and +3. That’s a considerable percentage that could force most PPH sports agents to use their layoff accounts.

Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys -3

Washington heads to Dallas after an embarrassing loss to the rival Eagles. The Commanders are a mess on both sides of the ball.Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott said he might play this week. Even if Prescott doesn’t, backup Cooper Rush is 3-0 as an NFL starter.   Consider: The line should move higher from the -3. Dallas could end up going off at -6 in this game. Use the layoff account because Washington versus Dallas is one of the league’s top rivalries.

Chicago Bears at New York Giants -3

Chicago beat the Texans, but the Bears aren’t a good football team. The Giants know they blew their chances versus the Cowboys. Here’s another line that should move big time before kickoff. The Giants figure to kick off at -4.5 to -4.Consider: Players will be all over the Giants. The Bears allow 157 rushing yards per and Saquon Barkley averages 7 yards per carry.

Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions -6.5

The Detroit Lions can score, and the Seahawks have trouble scoring. Based on those facts, the Lions might be an overlay at less than 7 points. But Detroit tends to allow teams to get back into the game late. Consider: Wait for action before using your layoff account or setting max limits on either team’s money line.

New York Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers -3.5

On the surface, players will believe the Steelers have no issues covering the -3.5. But pro handicappers could have a different take. With Mitch Trubisky at quarterback, the Steelers’ offense has become a disaster. Expect Pittsburgh to flounder on the scoreboard, allowing for a Jets backdoor cover.Consider: Set limits on the Jets’ money line. Pittsburgh will be difficult for pro players to back because they have trouble scoring points.  Image Suggestion:

Buffalo Bills -3.5 at Baltimore Ravens

The Bills must play the rest of the season without starting free safety Micah Hyde. Buffalo allows less than 13 points per game.Baltimore is the highest-scoring team in the NFL. The Ravens average over 33 points in each contest. Something will give. Consider: Wait for the action to land before making a move. Use your layoff account for sure but only if you must. Both teams should attract some money.

Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers -1.5

Arizona played well enough to beat the Rams in week 4. The Cardinals should pick it up on the road. The Panthers’ defense will struggle to contain Kyler Murray and the Cardinals’ offense. No matter if Carolina beat a down on their luck Saints squad, the Panthers aren’t 1.5 points better than The Valley. Consider: Free betting software pros will jump all over this line. Price per head agents shouldn’t mess around. If money lands on the Cards, use the layoff account.

New England Patriots at Green Bay Packers -10.5

Mac Jones, the Patriots quarterback, should be out for multiple weeks. Without Jones, most players will conclude the Patriots don’t keep up on the scoreboard. The Packers have gotten it going since an NFL Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay’s defense could shut out the Pats. Consider: Parlays playing the Pack to cover to under the total are possible. Set parlay limits so your players don’t juice payouts by adding for sure covers.

Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders -1.5

The Raiders are a solid squad. So is Denver. The key for this game will be how well Russell Wilson plays. If Wilson plays as he did against the 49ers, a game the Broncos should have lost, the Raiders win and cover. If Russell gets it going, the Raiders lose straight up.Consider: Set max limits on both teams’ money lines. Also, use the layoff account if either attracts too much action.

NFL Sunday Night Football: Kansas City Chiefs -2.5 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If PPH services agents notice money landing on the Chiefs, there’s a reason. The Buccaneers have not played great football.Tampa is 2-1, but they’re a lucky 2-1. The Buccaneers have struggled to score. Consider: Kansas City could end up overplayed. But even if they do, you’re not a sports bettor. So use your layoff account.

Monday Night Football – October 2

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers -2.5

Most action figures to go to the 49ers. San Francisco should be 2-1, not 1-2.The Rams’ defense will struggle to contain San Francisco’s top player, Deebo Samuel. Jimmy Garoppolo made some mistakes in the loss to the Broncos. But he should bounce back okay. Consider: For sure, bookie website operators should set max limits on both money lines and use their layoff accounts.
