College Football Week 11 2023 Preview. The top five power teams are still the unbeaten leaders of the nation. But as we enter November, those same teams will be tested even more to see if they can hold their place or be replaced.

No. 1 Georgia to host No. 10 Ole Miss

The Bulldogs handled Missouri last week, 30-21. However, they didn’t cover the spread. This week, they take on a more formidable opponent but are still favored by a double-digit, 11.5-point spread. Georgia is 2-6-1 ATS, while Ole Miss is 6-2-1 ATS. The Rebels have not done well against ranked teams, however. Their only loss was against No.8 Alabama.

Ole Miss coach, Lane Kiffin, is 1-5 against top-10 teams, but he’s hoping quarterback Jaxson Dark and running back Quinshon Judkins will be a dangerous combination against Georgia. Wide receiver Tre Harris and tight end Caden Prieskorn are now healthy and will bring even more pressure on the Georgia defense.

The Bulldogs will ultimately prevail and probably have the answer for the Rebels’ offensive weapons to cover the spread.

No. 2 Michigan visits No. 9 Penn State

The Nittany Lions have done a stellar job of moving up to the No. 9 position but have not done well against the top teams. Head coach James Franklin, is 3-16 against top-10 teams since joining Penn State. Their only loss came to Ohio State, which was their only game against a top-25 team this year. Their offensive line could not protect quarterback Drew Allar, who went 18 of 43 for 191 yards and was pressured on 23 of his 48 dropbacks.

Last week, the Nittany Lions had one of their best games against Maryland, where Allar threw four touchdowns. But he will be going up against one of the toughest defenses in the country, so if his offensive line hasn’t improved, he’ll be facing the same problems. Watch how each team does against a good opponent.

No. 5 Washington Hosts No. 13 Utah

The Huskies were able to switch their style of play in order to beat USC last week. Instead of focusing on the air, their offense ran the ball. Running back Dillon Johnson had one of his best performances, with 26 carries for 256 yards and four rushing touchdowns.

Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. still made 22 out of 30 completions for 255 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. But they will be taking on a team that also had a stellar Week 10 performance.

Utah blew out Arizona State 55-3. Their rushing game produced 352 yards with a total offense of 513 yards. The Utes’ defense kept Arizona State to only 83 yards of total offense. However, Washington will pose a much more significant threat than Arizona State could. Given Utah’s history against ranked teams, I suspect the Huskies will cover the 9.5-point spread.

No. 14 Tennessee to Visit No. 16 Missouri

These two teams have identical straight-up and ATS records – 7-2, 6-3, and are in the SEC East conference, stuck behind the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs. Neither has won against a currently-ranked team, so this will be a chance for one of them to break that mold. This has the potential of being a hell of a battle because both teams have identical aspirations for a win here.

Even though Missouri is favored, I still think Tennessee will pull off the upset. Keep your limits in, so you don’t get blindsided.
