2019 NBA Conference Playoffs Update

The 2019 NBA Playoffs Conference Finals kick off this week.

On Tuesday, May 14, Game 1 between the Golden State Warriors and Portland Trail Blazers takes place at Oracle Arena in Oakland, kicking off the 2019 NBA Conference Playoffs. Then on Wednesday, the Milwaukee Bucks host the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Keep reading for information on how online Pay Per Head bookies should manage wagering on both series.

2019 NBA Western Conference Playoffs Finals Update

Golden State Warriors vs Portland Trail Blazers

The Golden State Warriors are massive -530 favorites to win the series versus the Trail Blazers. Golden State lost Kevin Durant during the Conference Semifinals. Durant went down in Game 5 after suffering a calf strain. Even without Durant, the Warriors beat Houston in Game 5. They beat the Rockets again in Game 6.

Golden State is playing so well that most NBA bettors will find it difficult to back Portland to win the series. Portland doesn’t match up as well with the Warriors as Houston did. If Golden State handled the Rockets without one of their star players, they should easily handle the Trail Blazers.

Although most bettors feel this way, it makes sense to set max betting limits on Portland to upset Golden State. The Trail Blazers offer +435 odds. Most pay per head agents can’t afford to take a hit at +435 odds. The payout on a $100 wager at +435 odds is $535. To ensure you’re not one of those bookies who gets burned on a Trail Blazers series win, use the mass editing tool and set max betting limits.

Agents must also manage betting on individual series games. Bookies should see most action on spread betting lines. The Game 1 spread betting line is Golden State -8. This means the Warriors must beat Portland by at least 9 points to win against the spread. The best PPH tool to use for ATS wagers is the layoff account.

Even though bookies don’t always want to use the layoff account, they should during the Western Conference Finals. Golden State is 35-46-1 against the spread. Portland is 45-36-1 ATS.

The Trail Blazers have a better record against the spread. In this series, that might not matter.

Also, per head agents should set max betting limits on all moneylines. Like with against the spread wagers, use the layoff account on over/under total wagers.

2019 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs Finals Update

Milwaukee Bucks vs Toronto Raptors

Kawhi Leonard hit a last second shot in game 7, the Raptors Vs 76ers. The most important shot in Toronto Raptors’ history led to a 92-90 win. Toronto takes on the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Finals.

Toronto is a +230 underdog to win the series. Milwaukee’s odds are -275. The Toronto-Milwaukee matchup is much different than the Warriors-Trail Blazers matchup.

Milwaukee allows only 43.3% from the field. That ranks first in the NBA. The Bucks allow 36.1% from three. That ranks twenty-second in the league. Milwaukee tends to drop into the paint to defend against shots from the field. Opposing three-point shooters get plenty of open looks against the Bucks.

Toronto has three great shooters who can hit from deep. Kawhi Leonard, Kyle Lowry, and Danny Green are all capable of dropping it from behind the arc. If Toronto hits their threes, they can upset Milwaukee.

Online bookie agents must set max betting limits on both Toronto and Milwaukee to win the series. Just based on how both teams played in the Conference Semifinals, this Eastern Conference Finals should go 7 games.

As with Warriors-Trail Blazers, agents must also use their layoff accounts for against the spread wagers. The spread in Game 1 is Milwaukee -6. Agents should use their layoff accounts on over/under total wagers. The over/under total for Game 1 is 218. Finally, just like Golden State-Portland, agents must set max betting limits on all moneylines.

The Bucks beat the Boston Celtics twice on the road in their last series. Toronto beat the Philadelphia 76ers once on the road in their last series. Both teams perform well away from home.

It’s important to manage betting action on the NBA Conference Finals. Pay per head agents should use their sportsbook tools. Set max betting limits on all series prices. Set max betting limits on all moneylines. Use the layoff account when necessary. By doing so, bookies will ensure profit.
